Friends,

I miss you!  I hope youā€™re doing the best you can during these challenging times.  Iā€™ve been thinking; how can we share what weā€™ve been doing to keep moving and stay ahead of our MS and the Coronavirus?  If you have something to share, perhaps you could send me an e-mail and a picture and Iā€™ll share it next week.  We need to continue to motivating each other sharing our experiences while weā€™re on hold with our group.  It would be interesting to see what youā€™re doing.  I hope youā€™ll share.  Who knows, perhaps youā€™ll inspire someone else to do something fun.  Please sharešŸ˜Š

Speaking of sharing, Iā€™ve riding my fat bike as much as I can.  Saturday, I got out for a four-hour ride.  It was cold (30 degrees) but it was awesome getting out for a long ride.  I found one house thatā€™s getting ready for spring.

Many of you probably recognize this hill and bench at the top of the hill.  Weā€™ve had a lot of fun on this hill and by this bench, havenā€™t we?  Hills are our friend! šŸ˜Š

I hope we get to get out and ride together soon!

My heart goes out to all the people and families of the people that have been affected by COVID-19.  This is really getting serious and close to home.  Whether actually having it, being exposed to it, being affected by businesses being shut down, losing your job, etc.  These are tough times and we really need to take it seriously and do our part of practicing social distancing and all other recommendations.  I hope you and your family are safe.  Letā€™s keep everyone affected in our prayers and pray we all get through this as safely as we can.

Letā€™s be thankful for all the doctors, nurses and everyone in the health care that are putting themselves at risk every day and every night as they serve those with the Coronavirus.  These are amazing, selfless, courageous people!  Letā€™s also give thanks to all the people in the world that are working diligently to develop testing equipment and ways to treat this Coronavirus.  Letā€™s also give thanks for all the people that are working diligently to produce protective gear, respirators, and any other medical equipment to help us get through this pandemic.

We may be inconvenienced in many ways but others have it much worse.  Letā€™s be thankful we have each other.  I know Iā€™m thankful for you!

We had our first virtual prayer group last week.  We had a few challenges with technology at first but it sure was nice seeing and hearing from many of you again.  Weā€™re going to be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am.  This will be a time we get together either via phone or computer (your choice) and share, talk, listen, give thanks, and pray in however God leads us.  Itā€™s a way for all of us to get together virtually and be there for each other and with each other.  I hope youā€™ll join us!

Hereā€™s link to our Zoom Meeting that Ashley provided for us.  Thanks Ashley!  Just click or call @ 11:30am and youā€™ll be connected.  I hope to ā€œseeā€ you there!  šŸ˜Š

We will not be getting back together at the gym yet.  Weā€™re going to get through this COVID-19 pandemic before we do.  I love you too much to put you at risk.  Iā€™m looking forward to riding bike with you soon though.  Thatā€™ll be an active way to practice social distancing.  We need a little warmer weather at 7:00am.

I hope youā€™re doing your part to keep moving and stay healthy during these unprecedented times weā€™re going through.  Iā€™m hoping and praying that none of us get this virus and have to deal with it.

Letā€™s stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day and make good choices.  Hopefully weā€™ll be back at the gym together soon.

I love and miss you all!

Dan

P.S.  Please share how youā€™re doing and what youā€™re doing to keep movingā€¦pictures and smiles please šŸ˜Š
