    Training Dates: Thursdays, February 13 – March 19th (6 weeks) 

    10:00am – 11:30am 

    Format: 30 minute bike (same bikes as used in Dan’s gym). 

    This includes the time to transition to the track. 30 minute run/walk on indoor track 30 minute swim instruction 

    Bring: – Swimsuit (towels are provided) 

    – Swim goggles if possible – Biking shoes if you prefer them. SPD or Look clip-in supported. – Toiletries if you wish to shower afterward – Photo ID (required to obtain locker key) 

    Other info: Arrive at 9:45am & check in at the front desk. Head upstairs to 

    the cycle room. Ask for directions if needed. Easy elevator access. Training begins with biking at 10:00am. It’s OK if you can’t swim! Don’t let that stop you. Just be willing to let us help you get started. Volunteers are available every step of the way. They will help you get on & off the bike, walk with you, get in the water to hold you up and assist in the locker room.

    Living with MS makes it tough to walk…and so we WOK!  We WOK to help those living with MS live their best lives.  We WOK to stop MS in it’s tracks.  We WOK for those who can’t.    But we don’t just WOK…we WOK HARD!

    WOK HARD to Fight MS is a fundraiser.  Your donations, 100% of which go the National MS Society, help fund research, programs and services for people living with MS, and advocacy efforts. So, give what you can, be generous, do what it takes to end MS forever!

    Here is the link for information and to register for Wok Hard to Fight MS on February 29th.   Register Here. You can forward this invitation to others from the registration page using the Share buttons near the bottom of the page. The more people attend, the more money we raise.   So tell your friends.  The event venue is wheelchair accessible.

    FAQs

    Is the food safe for people with food allergies or dietary restrictions?  The short answer is NO.   The long answer is that much of the food does not contain gluten or dairly ingredients, but we cannot guarantee that food didn’t come in conact with trace allergens.   All dishes have sesame and soy.

    Are there options for vegetarians/vegans?  Vegetarian and vegan options are available, but again, we can not guarantee that food didn’t come in contact with meat or dairy during preparation.

    Is the event accessible for the disabled?  YES!!! Congregation Sinai has everything on one floor.  Accesible entrance, acessible restrooms and lots of parking.

    Is it family friendly?   We recommend that you do not bring small children.   Get a sitter…have a grown up night out.

    What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?    There is a sizable FREE parking lot, but always good to carpool.

    What can I bring into the event?   YOUR DONATIONS and your appetite!!
