Friends,

We have indoor triathlon spirit in the air this week as Sunday will be an awesome day for so many of you.  I’m really excited for everyone that’s doing this event.  Last week I asked Mary Alice how she’s doing with the triathlon training.  She says “well, I’m getting stronger every week”.  That’s awesome!  That’s the way triathlon training works.  Triathlon training is three totally different disciplines that are all good for us with MS.

For all of you doing it…good luck this Sunday!  Please let your family members and friends know about the event and encourage them to come and cheer you and others with MS on.  We’re still looking for a few more volunteers.  If you’re able to volunteer, please respond to Jerry’s earlier e-mail or let me know you’re willing to volunteer.

It was nice having the people from the National MS Society join us last Friday.  They’re working hard for us.

It was good to hear Jessalyn Hampton from Colorado speak about advocacy and all the programs they are working on for all of us.

Jessalyn said this was the first time she ever had an opportunity to speak from a Stairmaster.   She was a great sport and shared some encouraging news for all of us with MS.

Shane sure is excited about his new bike from our friends at Meat Fight in Texas.

If you have MS and would like to ride the MS Bike ride but don’t have a bike, our friends at Meat Fight will give you a bike if you apply for it, qualify and agree to ride the MS Bike Ride.  Check out Meat Fight’s website for more information.

Now we just need to get rid of some of this snow and get some warmer weather so we can get out riding.  Spring is coming!

Let’s have some more fun this week!
