Friends,

I feel we need to be socially and personally responsible with the COVID-19 numbers on the rise locally again.Ā  Fortunately, we havenā€™t had any of our employees or family members test positive but I am hearing of more people we know testing positive.Ā  Fortunately, none of them have been hospitalized and are doing well.Ā  I feel itā€™s creeping in on us and I feel we need to be safe and put the gym on hold for a little while again.Ā  Iā€™m really sorry to do this but I love you all too much to be irresponsible and get together with the increase in COVID-19 cases locally.

Weā€™ll be paying close attention to the progress of this pandemic locally and start getting back together again as quickly as we feel we can do it safely.Ā  For right now, I feel itā€™s safest not to get together again for a while so; we will not be getting together this week at the gym.Ā  Iā€™m sorry!Ā  I hope you understand.Ā  Thank you for understanding!

I do however feel weā€™re still safe to get together outside for the Friday morning bike ride.Ā  Weā€™re really not together on these rides and we have a lot of wind in between us as weā€™re riding.Ā  It looks like weā€™re going to have warm enough weather to ride this week so weā€™ll ride.

Do you want to ride bike with us?Ā  Letā€™s hope the weather cooperates.Ā  If itā€™s raining or is less than 45 degrees, we will not ride.Ā  Please join us at 7:00am Friday morning at Nettesheim Park on the SE corner of Hwy SS and Oak Street in Pewaukee.Ā  If you need me to bring a trike or tandem, please let me know.

Letā€™s keep riding! šŸ˜ŠĀ  Each week we get to ride is a bonus at this point.

Our Zoom prayer group on Wednesday mornings are a great place to get together virtually, catch up a bit and give thanks.Ā  Even though we canā€™t get together physically, itā€™s so nice to see all who joins us virtually.Ā  I really like the good things coming out of this groupā€¦seeing Godā€™s work as blessings.Ā  Itā€™s awesome seeing so many of you there laughing, listening, sharing, giving thanks and praying!Ā Ā  Even in this pandemic, we have a lot to give thanks for, donā€™t we?

Weā€™ll be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am.Ā  Weā€™ll get together either via phone or computer (your choice) and share, talk, listen, give thanks, and pray in however God leads us.Ā  Itā€™s a way for all of us to get together virtually to catch up and be there for each other and with each other.Ā  I hope youā€™ll join us!

Hereā€™s a link to our Zoom Meeting that Ashley provided for us.Ā  Thanks Ashley!Ā  Just click or call @ 11:30am Wednesday and youā€™ll be connected.Ā  I hope to ā€œseeā€ you there!Ā  šŸ˜ŠĀ  You will need a password now because zoom tightened up itā€™s security.Ā  The password is:Ā  keepmoving

I hope youā€™ll join us on Zoom!

My heart goes out to all the people and families of the people that have been affected by COVID-19.Ā  This is really getting serious and close to home.Ā  Whether actually having it, being exposed to it, being affected by businesses being shut down, losing your job, working on the front line, etc.Ā  These are tough times and we really need to take it seriously and do our part of practicing social distancing and all other recommendations.Ā  I hope you and your family are safe.Ā  Letā€™s keep everyone affected in our prayers and pray we all get through this as safely as we can.

As we all go through this pandemic together, I encourage you to share a smile with someone.Ā  Perhaps you could give someone a call that you havenā€™t talked with for a while just to see how theyā€™re doing.Ā  This pandemic is tough in many ways.Ā  We all could use a little extra love and encouragement during these times.

Letā€™s be thankful for all the doctors, nurses and everyone in the health care that are putting themselves at risk every day and every night as they serve those with the Coronavirus.Ā  These are amazing, selfless, courageous people!Ā  Letā€™s also give thanks to all the people in the world that are working diligently to develop testing equipment and ways to treat this Coronavirus.Ā  Letā€™s also give thanks for all the people that are working diligently to produce protective gear, respirators, and any other medical equipment to help us get through this pandemic.

We may be inconvenienced in many ways but others have it much worse.Ā  Letā€™s be thankful we have each other.Ā  I know Iā€™m thankful for you!

Letā€™s stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day and make good choices.

See you soon!

Dan
