Friends,

I haven’t heard of anymore COVID related symptoms this past week so we will be getting back together again this Wednesday and Friday.  If you have any symptoms or know you’ve been exposed, please don’t come until your symptoms go away.  Please be respectful of the virus and others regardless of your beliefs about the virus and wear a mask, wipe your machines down, etc.  Let’s do our part to get together safely.  Hopefully, we’ll be through this thing soon.

I missed you last week and am looking forward to seeing you again this week!  We’ll be getting together from 9:00 – noon on Wednesday and Friday.  I hope you’ll join us.

As we go through this Holy week before Easter.  I’ve been going outside in our backyard at sunset to do a little reflecting, giving thanks and taking some pictures.  It’s hard to believe a little wooden cross on a fence post with a few weeds could make such a dynamic image in a beautiful sunset.

I just thought I would share this.  Happy Easter to all!

Whoah!  We’ve been getting quite a few people signing up on our Peppy Pedaler’s team this past week.  That’s awesome!  Thanks for joining us!  If you haven’t signed up yet, the prices go up April 1st so save yourself some money and sign up tonight or tomorrow.

Who’s ready to ride bike this year?  We’ll be watching the weather and as soon as it’s 45 degrees at 7:00am we’ll start riding on Friday mornings again.  It doesn’t look like it’s going to be 45 degrees this Friday.  Let’s hope it is next Friday…stay tuned.

The MS bike ride is going to be a one day ride this year on August 7th.  Let’s get as many people riding as we can and make it another epic ride.  We can ride “with” people with MS as well as “for” people with MS.

Some things have changed for the MS Bike ride this year.  People with MS no longer have free registration however they are passing a discount along.  Rookie riders are no longer free either but again, they’re passing a discount along.  They’re also passing discounts along to returning riders which they didn’t do in the past and they’re also passing discounts along to past riders who haven’t ridden in a while.  So…lots of discounts!

Prices to register will start to rise as we get closer to the date.  Right now is the cheapest time to register so if you’re going to ride, save yourself some money and sign up now.  Prices will start to increase April 1st.  All riders are required to raise a minimum of $300.00 toward this great cause and event.  Let’s do our part and raise as much as we can for all of us living with MS…especially those who can’t ride.

Here are the discount codes to use when you sign up:

  • BIKEVIP: 25% off used for Team Captains, Top Fundraisers, and I Ride with MS participants.
  • NEWRIDER: 25% off used for rookie riders.
  • TEAMUP: 15% off used for team members who are returning to the ride.
  • COMEBACK: 15% off used for someone who rode in years past but perhaps missed last year, they can come back and use this code.

Here’s a link to our Peppy Pedalers team where you can sign up:

Again, save yourself some money by signing up now and using your appropriate discount code.  I look forward to having you on our team.

If you’d like to ride but don’t know how you’d do it, please let me know.  We’ll do our best to figure out a way to get you riding.  We get pretty creative .

Last week, our prayer group was once again…powerful!  I just love the way we share, pray together and witness prayers being answered weekly.  Thanks goes to God and to everyone that joins us.

Our Zoom prayer group on Wednesday mornings are a great place to get together virtually, catch up a bit and give thanks.  It’s awesome seeing so many of you there laughing, listening, sharing, giving thanks and praying!

We’ll be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am.  We’ll get together via zoom and share, talk, listen, give thanks and pray however God leads us.  It’s a way for all of us to get together virtually to catch up and be there for each other and with each other.  I hope you’ll join us!

My heart goes out to all the people and families of the people that have been affected by COVID-19.  Whether actually having it, being exposed to it, being affected by businesses being shut down, losing your job, working on the front line, etc.  These are tough times and we really need to take it seriously and do our part of practicing social distancing and all other recommendations.  I hope you and your family are safe.  Let’s keep everyone affected in our prayers and pray we all get through this as safely as we can.

As we all go through this pandemic together, I encourage you to share a smile with someone.  Perhaps you could give someone a call that you haven’t talked with for a while just to see how they’re doing.  This pandemic is tough in many ways.  We all could use a little extra love and encouragement during these times.

Let’s be thankful for all the doctors, nurses and everyone in the health care that are putting themselves at risk every day and every night as they serve those with the Coronavirus.  These are amazing, selfless, courageous people!  Let’s also give thanks to all the people in the world that are working diligently to develop testing equipment and ways to treat this Coronavirus.  Let’s also give thanks for all the people that are working diligently to produce protective gear, respirators, and any other medical equipment to help us get through this pandemic.

We may be inconvenienced in many ways but others have it much worse.  Let’s be thankful we have each other.  I know I’m thankful for you!

Let’s stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day and make good choices.

See you soon…better days are ahead!

In God We Trust!
