Friends,
Whoâs sick of the masks? Me too! We will back off soon if things keep going the way they are. Iâm asking you to hang in there with us for a little while yet. Weâre getting close and weâre getting through thisâŚyeah! Iâm also thanking you for being respectful and cooperative. Weâll take one week at a time from here.
If youâre by yourself on a machine without anyone around you, take your mask down and breathe.  If youâre crossing paths with people, talking with them or are near them, please be respectful and wear your mask whether youâve been vaccinated or not for a little while yet. Letâs keep being safe and respectful until we get through this. You all mean too much to me and weâre getting closer.
One of the most important things you can do is to stay home if you have any symptoms or know youâve been exposed to someone with the virus. Please donât come until your symptoms go away.
Dr Becky and her student volunteers will be here again this Wednesday. Weâre fortunate to have them! Be sure to come and allow them to help you in some way. Theyâre learning about MS and how it affects us and weâre learning from them as we benefit from their help. Itâs win / win. Thank you Dr Becky and students!
Ricky will be back Wednesday and Friday this week and each week going forward doing Tai Massage unless heâs traveling. There will be a sign up sheet based on first come first serve. If Ricky doesnât get to you, then you will go to the top of the list for the next time.  Please go sign up by Ricky when you get here if you want him to work with you.  Please share your experience so we can all learn from the results of this.
Many of you have generously donated to our group and have helped us get donations to make equipment and programs for people with MS possible â free of charge. Weâll be putting some of this money towards having Ricky join us each week. Weâre going to experience what Rickyâs work can do for us if we are consistent with it. Iâm confident that many will benefit in many ways such as pain relief, range of motion, better mobility, improved mental state, a new sense of hope, etc. Thank you to all who have made donations and helped get donations to make this possible!
We would like to put together a fund raising team to raise more funds to have more programs available along with more specialized equipment and eventually be able to fund research that we feel would be beneficial to us living with MS. We need to get living with this MS thing figured out. Weâre already learning a lot and seeing many people make progress.
If you would be willing and interested to be part of our fund raising team, please let me know. Once we know whoâs willing and interested, weâll get together and kick some ideas around on ways to raise funds and have fun doing it. Our goal is to keep this free for people with MS. I can tell you that Iâm NOT the person to ask anyone for money. Iâd rather give than receive. I need some help with this.
Have you been to our MS-Just Keep Moving website lately? Mike and Cal continue to add new content each week. If you ever need a little inspiration, you can resort to some of Calâs beautiful and amazing photography and inspirational messages by clicking here. If you want to know more about any of Calâs images, just ask him. He personally took all the pictures himself. He loves sharing his experiences.
Weâll be getting together from again from 9:00am â noon on Wednesday and Friday. I hope youâll join us.
It looks like weâll have nice weather for our Friday morning bike ride this week. I hope youâll join us! If itâs raining, we wonât be riding.
Weâll be meeting Friday at 7:00am at Nettesheim Park in Pewaukee. Itâs on the SE corner of Hwy SS and Oak Street. The GPS address is: N26W27495 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072. Come a little early so you can get your bike out of your car and be ready to ride as close to 7:00 as possible. Weâll ride until about 8:45.
If you need me to bring a trike or a tandem for you, please let me know as soon as you can so I can bring them.
If youâd like to ride but donât know how youâd do it, please let me know. Weâll do our best to figure out a way to get you riding. We get pretty creativeđ.
Last week, our prayer group was once againâŚpowerful! I just love the way we share, pray together and witness prayers being answered weekly. Thanks goes to God and to everyone that joins us.
Our Zoom prayer group on Wednesday mornings are a great place to get together virtually, catch up a bit and give thanks. Itâs awesome seeing so many of you there laughing, listening, sharing, giving thanks and praying!
Weâll be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am. Weâll get together via zoom and share, talk, listen, give thanks and pray however God leads us. Itâs a way for all of us to get together virtually to catch up and be there for each other and with each other. I hope youâll join us on zoom!

As we all live with MS and go through this pandemic together; I encourage you to share a smile with someone. Perhaps you could give someone a call that you havenât talked with for a while just to see how theyâre doing. This pandemic is tough in many ways. We all could use a little extra love and encouragement during these times.
MS is tough. Letâs stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day as we make good choices. Better days are ahead.
In God We Trust!
