DESCRIPTION:These classes are aimed to get everyone exercising together. Classes are intended to challenge participants by increasing and decreasing effort levels throughout the class in an “interval” format. Classes are no longer than 30 minutes. We’ll need help from volunteers before and after the cardio class on Wednesdays to get members on and off equipment. All are welcome and encouraged to join. \nLocation: in the big room using aerobic equipment in front of big TV \nPick your favorite piece of equipment to use\, bring a water bottle\, and arrive a few minutes early to get the equipment set up to your height.

DESCRIPTION:Friends\, \nYardstick of Life – Rick Talbert\nRick gave a powerful and impactful presentation last Fridy about his life and many of the God sightings he’s had in life.  He explained it from a perspective of a yardstick and how his life has been impacted each section of a yardstick.  It was certainly an interesting story and way to look at which ever phase of life we are in.\n \nThanks\, Rick for sharing your journey and perspective!  It was impactful.\n \nWe recorded this and will share the link as soon as I can figure out how to get it on our YouTube channel. \nDockhounds Game\nMany of us enjoyed the Dockhounds game on Sunday.  John Arena did a nice job of getting us selected to be able to do this as a fundraiser for our MS-Just Keep Moving Mission.  Thank you\, John!  We had 93 people from our MS-Just Keep Moving families join us there. \nA huge THANK YOU goes out to all who came and supported us.  We happened to catch a few of us for a picture on the way out.  Unfortunately\, we didn’t get a picture of everyone. \n \nBy the way\, the Dockhounds played well.  We saw several homeruns\, double plays\, bases stolen\, foul balls\, etc.  The Dockhounds even won.  😊 \nThursday Morning Walks\nI couldn’t be happier with the turnout for the Thursday morning walks this year and the progress that each person is making by sticking to the ramping up by 10% maximum each week.  This gradual and consistent plan is working for just about everyone who shows up consistently. \nLast week\, we had 19 people show up between people with MS and volunteers to walk with us.  Let’s keep in mind we want our volunteers to train “with us” for the Day of Endurance.  I’m thankful many are…thank you!\n \nIt got a little hot last week by the time we were done.  We will be starting a little earlier this week to beat the heat.  The long walkers who want to start earlier will be starting at 6:30 am.  The rest of us will be starting at 8:00am.  We will be starting from St. Anthony’s parking lot. \nSt Anthony’s Church\nW280N2101 Prospect Avenue\nPewaukee\, WI 53072 \nCome a few minutes early so we can start walking as close to the starting time you choose as possible.  It’s probably going to be warm by the time we are done so bring water and dress accordingly. \nFor those who wish they could walk but can’t\, we are walking for you and have you on our minds and in our hearts. \nStanding Balance Class on Rebounders\nI love it when I see people in engaging in the standing balance classes on the rebounders.  I know how life changing rebounding has been for me.  I really want to see others experience this as well.  Rebounding is all balance work\, even just standing on them challenges our balance and improves our balance.  Thanks Kate\, for making these classes possible and leading them so well!\n \nGolf Outing – Friday\, June 26th\nPlease bring anything you have for our raffle and silent auction items in to the gym this week.  The time has come.  We are putting baskets\, etc. together now. \nA huge THANKS goes out to everyone who went out and solicited donations for us as well as those who made a donation.  THANK YOU! \nWe really want to give the golfers a great experience as well as raise a bunch of money for our mission. \nLet’s get together – Open Gym plus programs!  \nWe’ll be getting together from 7:00am – noon on Monday through Friday mornings at the gym. DESCRIPTION:Aquatics classes are 45 minutes in length and include cardio\, strength\, balance\, and flexibility training. The capacity of each class is 12 people. We use a hotel’s pool at Wildwood Lodge in Pewaukee. The pool is 3-5 feet deep with a staircase going into the water\, and a chair lift for those that cannot climb stairs. Two accessible bathrooms are in close proximity to the pool.\n\nClass #1 (1 – 1:45 pm) good for moderate to high ability levels\n\nClass #2 (2 – 2:45pm) good for all ability levels\n\n \nLocation\nWildwood Lodge \nN14 W24121 Tower Pl\, Pewaukee\, WI 53072\n \nLogistics:\n\n\nWear your swimsuit under your clothes for time efficiency.\nPool shoes are recommended to be worn.\nThere are several tables and chairs on the pool deck to leave your belongings.\nUnfortunately\, there are no locker rooms to shower afterwards. There are two handicap bathrooms near the pool for changing. Take turns! A hot tub and chairs are available while you wait. \nTowels are provided by the hotel.\nPlease get there 15 minutes early so we can start on time.\nIf you have a flotation device (aqua jogger\, noodle\, weights) that you like\, please bring them. DESCRIPTION:Aquatics classes are 45 minutes in length and include cardio\, strength\, balance\, and flexibility training. The capacity of each class is 12 people. We use a hotel’s pool at Wildwood Lodge in Pewaukee. The pool is 3-5 feet deep with a staircase going into the water\, and a chair lift for those that cannot climb stairs. Two accessible bathrooms are in close proximity to the pool.\n\nClass #1 (1 – 1:45 pm) good for moderate to high ability levels\n\nClass #2 (2 – 2:45pm) good for all ability levels\n\n \nLocation\nWildwood Lodge \nN14 W24121 Tower Pl\, Pewaukee\, WI 53072\n \nLogistics:\n\n\nWear your swimsuit under your clothes for time efficiency.\nPool shoes are recommended to be worn.\nThere are several tables and chairs on the pool deck to leave your belongings.\nUnfortunately\, there are no locker rooms to shower afterwards. There are two handicap bathrooms near the pool for changing. Take turns! A hot tub and chairs are available while you wait. \nTowels are provided by the hotel.\nPlease get there 15 minutes early so we can start on time.\nIf you have a flotation device (aqua jogger\, noodle\, weights) that you like\, please bring them.
