DESCRIPTION:Aquatics classes are 45 minutes in length and include cardio\, strength\, balance\, and flexibility training. The capacity of each class is 12 people. We use a hotel’s pool at Wildwood Lodge in Pewaukee. The pool is 3-5 feet deep with a staircase going into the water\, and a chair lift for those that cannot climb stairs. Two accessible bathrooms are in close proximity to the pool.\n\nClass #1 (1 – 1:45 pm) good for moderate to high ability levels\n\nClass #2 (2 – 2:45pm) good for all ability levels\n\n \nLocation\nWildwood Lodge \nN14 W24121 Tower Pl\, Pewaukee\, WI 53072\n \nLogistics:\n\n\nWear your swimsuit under your clothes for time efficiency.\nPool shoes are recommended to be worn.\nThere are several tables and chairs on the pool deck to leave your belongings.\nUnfortunately\, there are no locker rooms to shower afterwards. There are two handicap bathrooms near the pool for changing. Take turns! A hot tub and chairs are available while you wait. \nTowels are provided by the hotel.\nPlease get there 15 minutes early so we can start on time.\nIf you have a flotation device (aqua jogger\, noodle\, weights) that you like\, please bring them. DESCRIPTION:Our Day of Endurance event is Saturday\, August 29th this year at Naga-Waukee Park in Delafield\, WI. \nTraining starts now.  This journey is created to give all of us something BIG to train for.  A good way to stay ahead of our MS year after year is to have something BIG on our calendar to work toward…together.  This is a powerful journey that we encourage people with MS\, family members\, friends\, our volunteers\, etc. to train together towards.  The goal is we each do a little better than we did last year.  If this is your first year\, we encourage you to start training now and do all you can on that day.  Whatever you do this year will be your goal for next year. \nIt doesn’t matter what our mobility level is.  We start where we are and gradually build up to do what we can do together on August 29th which includes a picnic. \nSince we’re all at different mobility levels\, a good training program consists of doing our daily exercises and then incorporate one long day each week.  It’s the one long day we gradually increase each week.  If we start now and gradually increase one day each week\, we tend to pleasantly surprise ourselves by August. \nPlease come to the gym for more details\, share some stories of past accomplishments\, receive our training log sheets\, and get our training off to a great start…together.  We highly encourage people to buddy up with friends and family members they can train with consistently.  It does not need to be the same person or people each day.  This is an opportunity to do something active with different people each day.

With over 25 years of experience\, Ricky holds numerous certifications including IAYT Yoga Therapy\, Yoga Alliance 500 E-RYT\, Integrative Yoga Therapy\, and Astanga Yoga from the revered Sivananda Ashram in India. Additionally\, he is adept in chair yoga\, specialized in guiding those with Multiple Sclerosis & other Neurological Conditions. He is also a Reiki Master Instructor\, skilled in meditation\, and proficient in Tai Chi and teaches and practices Thai Yoga Massage. \n  \nThis is a 30 minute class focusing on stretching\, meditation\, and balance with flares of yoga and Tai Chi moves.
