Friends,
We got back together at the gym again last Wednesday and Friday for the 2nd week in a row.Ā People are very respectful of the virus and each each other.Ā Weāll get together again this week on Wednesday and Friday inside from 10:00 ā noon.Ā Weāll be moving machines apart inside to create some distance between each.Ā Please continue to be respectful of the virus and each other by wearing a face covering when youāre close to someone else and continue disinfecting the machines before and after you use them.
This virus may be a round a while yet, we need to be safe as we continue to get together.Ā Iām confident we can get together safely if we all continue to do what weāve been doing.Ā Being isolated and not moving like we should can be challenging due to atrophy and depression living with MS.Ā We need to figure out how to continue to get together safely and keep moving.Ā I feel weāve learned a lot since this all started.Ā We can do it!
If you have been exposed to COVID, have a fever or any other symptoms, please do not come.Ā Letās allow each other ample space between each other (6 feet is recommended).Ā Weāll need to disinfect any machine you use before and after you use it.Ā Weāll have disinfectant sprays available.Ā Be sure to wash your hands with soap and water before and after you join us.
It looks like the weather will cooperate with us again this week for our Friday morning bike ride.Ā Each week we get to ride at this point is a bonus.Ā We will stop when the weather is less than 45 degrees @ 7:00am.Ā It looks like it will be 49 degrees this week which is still plenty warm enough.
Do you want to ride bike with us?Ā Letās hope the weather cooperates.Ā If itās raining or is less than 45 degrees, we will not ride.Ā Please join us at 7:00am Friday morning at Nettesheim Park on the SE corner of Hwy SS and Oak Street in Pewaukee.Ā If you need me to bring a trike or tandem, please let me know.
Letās keep riding! š
Our prayer group on Wednesday mornings are a great place to get together virtually, catch up a bit and give thanks.Ā Even though we canāt get together physically, itās so nice to see all that joins us virtually and learn how youāre doing and how this pandemic is affecting you.Ā I really like the good things coming out of this pandemic that are discussedā¦seeing Godās work as blessings.Ā Itās awesome seeing so many of you there laughing, listening, sharing, giving thanks and praying!Ā Ā We have a lot to give thanks for, donāt we?
Weāre going to be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am even though weāre getting together in person in the parking lot.Ā We realize not everyone will be able to make it in person.Ā Weāll get together either via phone or computer (your choice) and share, talk, listen, give thanks, and pray in however God leads us.Ā Itās a way for all of us to get together virtually to catch up and be there for each other and with each other.Ā I hope youāll join us!
Hereās a link to our Zoom Meeting that Ashley provided for us.Ā Thanks Ashley!Ā Just click or call @ 11:30am Wednesday and youāll be connected.Ā I hope to āseeā you there!Ā š

My heart goes out to all the people and families of the people that have been affected by COVID-19.Ā This is really getting serious and close to home.Ā Whether actually having it, being exposed to it, being affected by businesses being shut down, losing your job, working on the front line, etc.Ā These are tough times and we really need to take it seriously and do our part of practicing social distancing and all other recommendations.Ā I hope you and your family are safe.Ā Letās keep everyone affected in our prayers and pray we all get through this as safely as we can.
As we all go through this pandemic together, I encourage you to share a smile with someone.Ā Perhaps you could give someone a call that you havenāt talked with for a while just to see how theyāre doing.Ā This pandemic is tough in many ways.Ā We all could use a little extra love and encouragement during these times.
Letās be thankful for all the doctors, nurses and everyone in the health care that are putting themselves at risk every day and every night as they serve those with the Coronavirus.Ā These are amazing, selfless, courageous people!Ā Letās also give thanks to all the people in the world that are working diligently to develop testing equipment and ways to treat this Coronavirus.Ā Letās also give thanks for all the people that are working diligently to produce protective gear, respirators, and any other medical equipment to help us get through this pandemic.
We may be inconvenienced in many ways but others have it much worse.Ā Letās be thankful we have each other.Ā I know Iām thankful for you!
Letās stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day and make good choices.
Iām thankful to be getting back together with you on Wednesdays and Fridays again.
See you soon!
Dan
