Friends,

Good news!  I haven’t heard of anymore COVID related symptoms again this past week so we will be getting together Wednesday and Friday mornings.  If you have any symptoms or know you’ve been exposed, please don’t come until your symptoms go away.  Please be respectful of the virus and others regardless of your beliefs about the virus and wear a mask, wipe your machines down, etc.  Let’s continue to do our part to get together safely.  Hopefully, we’ll be through this thing soon.

We’ll be getting together from 9:00am – noon on Wednesday and Friday.  I hope you’ll join us.

Who’s ready to ride bike this year?  It looks like it will only be 34 degrees this Friday morning so we won’t be riding.  Hopefully it’ll warm a little by next week.  Stay tuned!

We had some fun riding last week.  The trikes are all fired up and ready to ride.

It was nice to stop in by Pete and Mary on our Friday ride to say hi.  It’s been a while!  Sure was good to see them!  It was nice to get out for a ride too😊

If you’d like to ride but don’t know how you’d do it, please let me know.  We’ll do our best to figure out a way to get you riding.  We get pretty creative😊.

Rick has been a busy little beaver.  First of all, ask him if he’s making any improvements since he’s been back.  He’s doing a really nice job of recording his progress.  When he’s not wiped out from working too hard, he’s making quite a bit of measurable progress.

Rick has also been busy helping people navigate their way through life with MS after having to give up their job due to MS.  Rick has put together a very informative website catered specifically to people living with MS helping to navigate benefits available to them.

Here’s a link to Rick’s website.  https://www.mshealthinsuranceresource.com/  Check it out and give Rick some feedback.  If he can help you in any way, feel free to reach out to Rick.  Here’s here to help.

Speaking of Rick being busy, he sent me this link to a disabled comedian.  As we know, laughter is great medicine.  I have to admit, this guy is pretty funny.  Many of us will be able to relate to a lot of his humor.  He’s certainly making the best of his challenges.  Check it out😊😊   http://drybarcomedy.com/joshb  Thanks for sharing Rick!

Last week, our prayer group was once again…powerful!  I just love the way we share, pray together and witness prayers being answered weekly.  Thanks goes to God and to everyone that joins us.

Our Zoom prayer group on Wednesday mornings are a great place to get together virtually, catch up a bit and give thanks.  It’s awesome seeing so many of you there laughing, listening, sharing, giving thanks and praying!

We’ll be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am.  We’ll get together via zoom and share, talk, listen, give thanks and pray however God leads us.  It’s a way for all of us to get together virtually to catch up and be there for each other and with each other.  I hope you’ll join us!

As we all live with MS and go through this pandemic together; I encourage you to share a smile with someone.  Perhaps you could give someone a call that you haven’t talked with for a while just to see how they’re doing.  This pandemic is tough in many ways.  We all could use a little extra love and encouragement during these times.

MS is tough.  Let’s stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day as we make good choices.  Better days are ahead.

In God We Trust!
Dan
