Friends,

So, again.  A lot has changed this past week about mask mandates.  Many are asking if we’ll still be wearing a mask while we’re together.  The answers is yes, for a little while yet when you’re close to another person.  The virus has not gone away.  We will back off soon if things keep going the way they are.  I’m asking you to hang in there with us for a little while yet.  We’re getting through this…yeah!  I’m also thanking you for being respectful and cooperative.

We’ll use the same common sense guidelines we’ve been using that’s been working.  If you’re by yourself on a machine without anyone around you, take your mask down and breathe.  If you’re crossing paths with people, talking with them or are near them, please be respectful and wear your mask whether you’ve been vaccinated or not.  Let’s keep being safe and respectful until we get through this.  You all mean too much to me and we’re getting closer.

If you have any symptoms or know you’ve been exposed to someone with the virus, please don’t come until your symptoms go away.

Dr Becky and her volunteers will be here again this Wednesday and every Wednesday for a while.  We’re fortunate to have them…thank you Becky and students!

It was awesome having Ricky with us again Friday morning last week.  Thank you Ricky!  Ricky will not be with us this week but he’ll be back next week.  We’re looking forward to having him join us every Wednesday and Friday soon.

We’ll be getting together from 9:00am – noon on Wednesday and Friday.  I hope you’ll join us.

Friday morning’s weather looks like it might be a little iffy for a bike ride due to the weather.  If it’s raining, we won’t be riding.  If it’s not raining, let’s dress warm and ride.

We’ll be meeting Friday at 7:00am at Nettesheim Park in Pewaukee.  It’s on the SE corner of Hwy SS and Oak Street.  The GPS address is:  N26W27495 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072.  Come a little early so you can get your bike out of your car and be ready to ride as close to 7:00 as possible.  We’ll ride until about 8:45.

If you need me to bring a trike or a tandem for you, please let me know as soon as you can so I can bring them.

If you’d like to ride but don’t know how you’d do it, please let me know.  We’ll do our best to figure out a way to get you riding.  We get pretty creative😊.

Last week, our prayer group was once again…powerful!  I just love the way we share, pray together and witness prayers being answered weekly.  Thanks goes to God and to everyone that joins us.

Our Zoom prayer group on Wednesday mornings are a great place to get together virtually, catch up a bit and give thanks.  It’s awesome seeing so many of you there laughing, listening, sharing, giving thanks and praying!

We’ll be doing it again tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 11:30am.  We’ll get together via zoom and share, talk, listen, give thanks and pray however God leads us.  It’s a way for all of us to get together virtually to catch up and be there for each other and with each other.  I hope you’ll join us on zoom!

As we all live with MS and go through this pandemic together; I encourage you to share a smile with someone.  Perhaps you could give someone a call that you haven’t talked with for a while just to see how they’re doing.  This pandemic is tough in many ways.  We all could use a little extra love and encouragement during these times.

MS is tough.  Let’s stay calm, focused, healthy, flexible, have faith and learn as much as we can about the challenges of each day as we make good choices.  Better days are ahead.

In God We Trust!

P.S.  I know, not my best e-mail tonight.  No pictures or anything…sorry!  I’m tired.  I’ll try to do better next week.  Good night!
